Good News: Rolling School Bus Library on Ride Home From School

From Denny: When I saw this on the news I practically fell over it was so great! This lady has these kids organized and doing something they like: reading on the school bus as they ride home. She turned their natural enthusiastic competitiveness into a smart and positive educational project: book reports. Of course, she gives cookies as rewards too. She reads each and every book report. She keeps her sanity on the ride home and the kids benefit from learning to read better. This constant study time in a leisurely manner has helped the kids to improve in their reading levels and other school work. Take a look at this simple yet smart solution to rowdy kids on the school bus. Maybe Congress should pass a law and fund the program with cookies! :)
